Things are going well here at Windy Mountain. Two new whirligigs are near completion, and the first indoor "twirligig" is complete. See the completed twirligig and one whirligig near completion in the Items section. With the warmer weather means more time spent in the shop so you can be sure to see more new ideas come to life in the wind.

One major project this summer is to insulate and heat the woodshop so that I can be productive year round. With that being said, dont forget I will have several new ideas this year for Holiday whirligigs and twirligigs.

Something else new that i will be offering is hand-poured bees-wax candles. These candles are made from local bees wax poured into antique tin molds. They are 10" candles with #2 square wicks, ensuring a long even burn. they will be offered individually and in bakers dozen.

Welcome to Windy Mountain. Things are getting in shape for the spring. Several new Whirligigs are in various stages of completion. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted on new happenings. One thing i will be offering in the future is indoor, hand operated versions of all my whirligigs. The figures will be mounted on a finished Oak box which houses similar crank assembly mated to a handle which you can turn to operate the gig. These should prove to be a great conversation piece.
